It was suggested that i use 220 carts that are see thru for replacements for my 226 carts which are not see thru. Just change the chips. Is there someplace I can purchase 226 chips ?? Ive got a lot of the 220 carts from my old printer and sure would be neat if i could use them as 226 carts.

The 225/226 cartridges should be fairly easy to pick up on EBay for a song or a local shop that has a recycle bin especially for used cartridges.
You wont be able to find the chips separate easy anywhere so just go for the cartridge and chip together..

Also, if you buy bare chips, make sure you get the ones for the colors you want because they are different. If you buy used cartridges, it will be obvious what colors they are for.
