The weirdest thing happened to my R2000. I've been using a CISS with it, and after removing the cartridge block yesterday, I noticed that two of the LEDs went off (PK and Orange).
I then installed a refillable with a different color chip and the printer just didn't "care", it got ready to print straight away. I even installed the cartridge with the chip removed and the printer still printed normally!
It somehow became chip-less, albeit for those two colors only!
Has anybody experienced similar behavior with their printers? Maybe someone more knowledgeable can explain this or suggest some test to figure out what's going on (or even better replicate the effect for the rest of the colors
)?
