Any of your guys that have a newer type Canon desktop or Pro printer that you have purchased since the summer of 2013.

Have anyone successfully been able to enter Service mode on their printers without encountering any problems and if so which firmware version was installed on your machine, original or upgraded ?

These printers would be using one of these cartridge types, CLl-551, CLl-42, PGl-72 and PGl-29 cartridges.

A Pro-100 using V1.03 (original) and pressing the pwr button, I beleive 5 times, sucessfully entered the service mode. YRMV. Didn't play with any of the settings. I'm chicken. Only looked at the info. information. All seemed correct.

Here is an instruction for entering service mode on Canon Pro-1, Pro-10 and Pro-100. It involves pressing the resume button 5 times. And here is confirmation that the procedure works.
