Canon Pro-100 refilling cycle

Hello all,
This is a question for replacing and refilling of cartridges.

When for example the cyan cartridge shows empty, do you:

a) replace only that cartridge
b) replace all cartridges with the set you have ready to go
c) something else

@flowrider, this all depends on which type of cartridges and ink you happen to be using.

The savings only work if you are refilling your OEM carts but not if you’re using OEM inks..

I'm refilling OEM cartridges.

Then in that case, unless you are rich then one at a time makes more sense. If you are refilling them you refill and exchange the complete set when one is low.

Hi Joe,
I know the conventional wisdom is to fill them all when one is low but I've never understood why this is true. Seems like you would waste more ink than you would save by using the OEM carts??? Could you please explain why, without too much technical input. lol Thanks1
