Hello! I recently purchased a used Canon Pro-10 from Facebook Marketplace, and got some new OEM ink for the printer. Expecting some challenges with the printer, since it had been sitting in a closet for some time, I ran a few cleaning cycles to try to get it going. I printed a nozzle check and I got a few issues, so I tried running a cleaning cycle again to no avail.

I have taken out the print head and used some cleaning solutions to let it soak for a few hours, let it dry, and then tried to print again, producing the following results.

As you can see, the Yellow and PBK are completely blank, and the PM is slightly pink rather than white.
The entire time I have owned this printer, the Yellow and PBK have both been blank, and the PM has also always been that color. I was wondering if it would be worth it to try cleaning it again, or if the print head was beyond cleaning. Any recommendations on where to purchase a replacement print head?

For what you explain, it seems that the two blank channels are dead. If it were just clogs you'd see some color on these stripes, after all the cleaning cycles you performed.

Availability of new printheads depends on where you live. Not long ago there were at least three reputable vendors of Canon spares in Europe ( Germany, France and UK). The British site ( Tasktron ) went out of business. The German vendor reports this printhead as unavailable and only the French site ( Eparts.fr ) sells them nowadays.
In North America it seems that Canon USA is the source more reliable for genuine printheads. If you're in another part of the world, I have no idea how things stand.

One clear recommendation: get the printhead directly from Canon or from a genuine vendor that gets them from Canon. It won't be cheap and you must consider if it's worth the investment since you don’t know the real condition of the machine. Maybe the waste ink pads are nearly full or there're other non obvious defects that will give you problems in the near future.
Please, DON'T purchase the printhead at Ali Express, Amazon or other dubious sources. Prices are tempting, but those are refurbished units with very high chances of being defective.
