I am guessing since canon themselves dlno longer sell the part that "authorized dealer" would be difficult to identify. When I spoke to canon they were only interested in me buying a new printer. Their customer service used to be first class now just an overseas foreign sales team.

There are quite a few Canon agents out there that are reliable to deal with, it is probably true the Canon don’t stock the Pro 100 print head any more but the Pro 200 print head is widely available and can be used in the Pro 100 printer.. Don’t give up on her just yet..

The Pro 100 and Pro 200 use the same printhead. The parts number is QY6-0084 and it is available from several regular dealers of Canon spare parts.

So completely confused now. The first image is where I started off, after numerous auto cleaning and manual cleaning got image number 2. That is when I contacted this forum. I changed the PC and it still stayed at image number 2. I have left this a week and now have image number 3. The PC and the LGRY are almost perfect. If you cant see from my photo number 3 has a feint line on PC and LTGRY which is still giving me a subtle lines on a photograph. I am now loathed to buy a new printhead, as it is nearly cleared. From what I have done, including leaving a week, can you deduce what the problem is. I haven't replaced the LGRY cartridge and that is also better. Can you deduce that a new printhead is not the problem, basically how to now proceed.
