Canon IP8750 - Streaks in Print that won't go away all of a sudden

Hi! My Canon IP8750 was working perfectly (only had it a year) all day, then all of a sudden started having some issues. It was printing fine then started stuttering, instead of a smooth motion of printing left to right and carrying on, it would do 2 swipes(?) and then pause for a second, then resume, then pause.
It started when I was getting print lines - which I've had before, then a simple cleaning to nozzle check fixes it. This time it didn't.
I then tried a few more prints to see if it would fix itself, it didn't. I tried a print head alignment next to see if that would change anything. All seemed to be going okay until the 3rd and final page - it completely missed out a +2/+1/0 for a/b/c/d and multiple other parts from the top line (images added).
I then tried to print again, now it was doing the printing motion and noises, but no ink was coming out.
I tried yet another cleaning then went to print the nozzle check, but it was just a blank piece of paper.
I unplugged the machine for a few minutes, then tried 1 last print before calling it a day, this time I got something I've never had with a printer (included images again), it was just a bunch of random colours. It also came up with an error on my PC, mentioning it might need a repair if it doesn't fix. I then unplugged the machine for the night.
Today I tried yet another cleaning and nozzle check - it printed, but same issues as the start of yesterday, the lines were back,
I appreciate anyone reading all that, but any help would be very helpful!

(Images - the nozzle checks have the same line pattern on most of the colours, had the same outcome with every cleaning so far. The last 4 images are the weird page I mentioned)

Sadly the printer has suffered an electronic damage. The printhead and/or the logic board has failed. Old Canon printers can fail suddenly in this way without warning.

A damaged printhead can damage a logic board and a damaged logic board can damage a new printhead. Newer canon service manuals recommend that the printhead and the logic board are replaced at the same time.

Replacing the printhead only is a gamble I would not recommend. So I think it is time for a new printer.

I replaced the print head with one from an older IP8750 that I wasn't using anymore and it seems to have fixed it luckily
