Hello everyone
I have a Canon ip6220D that takes CL-51(color) and CL-52 (photo) cartridges. I filled the color cartridge up about two weeks ago, so I know they are pretty full. Unfortunately, the ink level detector is still showing low level of ink. Is there any way I disable the ink level function. I have tried almost everything available on google searches (mptool 0.9.6, canon software resetter). It is getting so low now that it is not letting me print. I am hoping some brilliant mind here can help me. Any help is truly appreciated.

Did you try RestoreEEprom yet? It's supposed to be written for the 6210/6220

Yes, I have tried RestoreEEprom I get the printer to go into a "idle" mode. The printer is on but none of the buttons work and my computer can't send the printer any instructions because the printer appears offline. Could you tell me what to do when the printer is in "idle mode"? I am sure there is some method to reset the ink refill.
