Hello,
I have a Canon Pixma IP 3600 and the yellow cartridge does not function anymore. I bought a new cartridge and yellow still does not print.

I cleaned the printer using the command from "Maintenance", I deed "deep cleaning", "print head alignment, and "roller cleaning".

Any suggestion of how could I make the yellow print again?

Thank you.

Unfortunately if we cant see your nozzle check then it is difficult to say exactly what your problem is.

If you have run out of ink in your yellow cartridge and continued to print without noticing it
then there is a fair chance you have damaged your print head.

You never said what type cartridges you were using or if the ink monitoring was working at the time of the accident.
Can you please print a nozzle check and upload it up for us to see as it will tell all..

The nozzle check is perfect - except the yellow line which is not visible at all.
I used CLI 221 Y and I replaced it with a brand new one.
As far as I remember I never printed anything when I was running out of ink. The ink monitor was always working and whenever I saw that the cartridges are empty I refilled it. I have a resetter and ink so there has never been the problem of not having ink at hand.

Is there a way of checking the printing head?
Thank you.
I will try to upload a picture with the nozzle check here.

Was this cartridge a Canon OEM or compatible?

"The Hat", is there an email where I could send you the picture of the nozzle check?
I don't know how to attach here pictures.
Or if you want to communicate the address in private, here is my email:

Thank you for your help.

It was Canon. The original one. When I bought the printer, there were 4 cartridges in the box.
I used those for 2 years with no problems.
The resetter and refilling work perfect.
Until some weeks ago, when the yellow stopped. At the beginning were some lines..and little by little it printed less and less, until is totally stopped.
Yet, the cartridge was full (I checked both the monitor and the cartridge).
