If the printer has used OEM chips in the first place placing aftermarket chips should not be a problem. Only if the printer is completely new and someone has sold the original setup cartridges would be a problem:

I heard that "setup" carts are the same as OEM retail just making it harder to sell. I thought the single use chips would match OEM chips on original carts. I might take the chance. Thanks for the advice! The avenue of last resort is taking 12 spent empties Canon oem carts filling them, inserting into new machine and somehow disabling ink monitoring on all 12 simultaneously if i were able to to allow initialization to proceed if even possible Thanks again !
