Last week I was in Staples then this week in Office Depot I could not find Canon's high resolution inkjet paper. Actually this probably has been a while. I can not find this Canon paper any more. Does anyone know if it is discontinued by Canon or what? Does anyone know what is the closest replacement for this type of paper now? I used this Canon paper for photos that I want them to be long lasting. I should have stocked them up before they are gone. Anyone noticed this too?

Hi Tin Ho: the best available alternative is Tetenal high resolution paper, in 130 and 176 gsm (printable on both side), ideal for making brochures and posters in the formats A4, A3 and A3+ (and for the 130 gsm in A2 too). It's called Duo print paper and it is a matte type high resolution paper. It is reasonable priced.

Thanks for the Tetenal paper info. It's German product, isn't it? I have not seen any before. Will try it if I can find it locally. I already checked Canon web site and it is still available. But Staples and Office Depot do not carry it in store. Office Depot has it in their online store. But Newegg has much better prices. But it charges an expensive shipping. Looks like Amazon is the place to find better deals. As long as it is still available I am not in a big rush to get it too soon yet. I still have almost 2 boxes of it.

Canon high resolution inkjet paper is an excellent paper for color graphics. It is fairly cheap, about $.10 a sheet. It is usually my top choice for color prints. Thanks guys for fast tips as usual.

I tried MP95A4-100 SKYHORSE 95g/m2 matte A4 paper. It has very good colors even can be used vor VIVID prints out of the box. Price is very good 6$ for 100 sheets, thats 0.06$ a sheet. Fading resistance is very good if you use OEM or other quality ink. I use inkTec ink.
