Hi yall, I'm a complete noob at printers.

So I had to shift from the middle east back to my hometown in South-Asia
my G3411 had ann issue with it's black ink Printhead which led me to purchase a BH7, which turns out, is an Asia-Specific Printhead only.
After discovering this amazing site I realized that:
Canon has divided the world into 8 regions and a printer only works with cartridges from its own region.

Region 1 for South American and Mexican markets
Region 2 for North American market = USA and Canada
Region 3 for Japanese market
Region 4 for Middle East, Russian and African markets
Region 5 for European and Australian markets *)
Region 7 for Asian market
Region 8 for Chinese market

So, currently, my printer, from Middle East-4, has an Printhead from Asia-7.

The Printer is showing an E14b Error.

What options do I have?
I read that I will need to do a EEPROM-related troubleshooting

Please advice me as to how to go forward.
Huge thanks!

P.S: I have unfortunately disposed off my old Canon Bh-4 Printhead.

You could buy a proper printhead from a Middle East country, but maybe buying a new printer locally would be less expensive?

Here is a thread about a problem similar to yours and here is one more thread about editing the EEPROM content.
