Canon G2060 vs. G2260

So, I ordered a G2260 from Amazon. Days after setting up the printer I realized that they sent a G2060! The latter uses the same drivers, no surprise there.

Am I missing out on anything not having the G2260?

Since Canon no longer keeps "old" (two years?) printers up on line, I have no way of comparing.

The G2060 seems to be a model for the East Asia/India business region, particular market/shortage reasons may have triggered Canon to get such units for the U.S. market, similar actions happened as well in Western Europe with Epson selling for a short while printers destined for the East Europe market. Both models seem to be the current versions, check for the inks - which one did you get - GI21 or GI71 ? The G2060/2260 both come with a user replaceable waste ink/maintenance box which is an improvement over older models.

Wow, you are quite the detective!

I double checked that this USA Canon, it is. The ink is GI21.
