c5280 hp not printing??

i've got a hp c5280 printer, and was working great. after it has sat for a couple of weeks, i went back to print some dvd covers, and a first nothing would come out, it would go through the whole print proccess but nothing would be on the disc

so after fiddling around with it, removing ink cartridges, cleaning contacts etc. it started to print slightly only. i tried filling cartridges again, but still very little ink seems to be hitting the disc.

after running dvd through 4-6 times, you can at least see the label on the disc, but it's very light with little to no color.

anyone have any ideas??

your cartridge heads are dried out, try soaking them, in windex(the blue kind) for an hour.
