BCH inks any good?

Both Canon and HP two cartridge all-in-one printers print an alignment page that is to be scanned for the alignment. The HP printers even print the alignment page automatically when a cartridge is changed.

When you change a cartridge in a two cartridge printer you also change the print head, so I think a new alignment is reasonable.

When I purchased the spongeless kit, I went with Canon Megatank Ink (GI-290) for the tri-color. It's not color matched and I didn't do any profiling, but it works well enough for the everyday stuff I do. For black I use ink designed for the HP-61 because I bought too much of it and hated the HP printer I got it for. As a consequence, the black ink is thinner than it should be and typically makes a mess around the parking pads, but does not harm printer output or clog the printhead. I am using this in a Canon Pixma TS5120, which is PG240/CL241.

BCH describes the ink they supply as either Standard (Chinese) or Premium (German). What this means is anyone's guess and how it works for you depends on what you print on. The chemistry between paper and ink varies with composition. If you run the tests, I'd like to see the results.
