Unfortunately there is no description at all what & how it functions. And no price either.
Anyone ?

No, but I already started a topic about the availability of these autoreset chips. The problem is that everytime you shut down your printer, these chips will be set to full again, even the ink is empty in your cartridge. I'm not sure the prism will give a feedback to the printer saying that "this cartridge is empty".

That is stupid. No one will keep the printer powered-on all the time just to maintain the ink status.

I also bought Canon resetter from http://www.inkfilling.com/show_canon-cli8-pgi5-resetter.html
It is also $27 and looks like a Sudhaus.
