Because not everybody has specially made scanning jigs/rulers for the Colormunki/i1Studio and the standard printarg command to generate Colormunki targets produces only 210 patches in the high density patch layout, a reasonable printer target, it needs at least 2 sheets of A4 to produce a reasonable good printer profile, whereas the specially i1Pro patch layout can easily fit 480 patches on a single sheet, but the scanning needs a specially made scanning jig to ensure accurate scanning. For this I have made a primary single sheet 325 patch target (based on the work of @Ink stained Fingers and his discovery that a good printer profile is already possible with a limited patch count) by using a virtual large sheet paper to force the printtarg command to put 325 patches on a large virtual page and using PS to shrink and manipulate the layout to get a 325-patch target to be printed on a single A4 page that can be easily scanned with the help of a simple ruler to align the scanning process: 3 rows on this target has exactly the width of the Colormunki/i1Studio device, making it very intuitive to scan the target, because it needs alignment only 1 row width before the row that is to be scanned:

On the left there is a some space to fill in data like printer/ink/media setting etc for your own documentation.
There is a black line to align the ruler to in order to get the first row A to be scanned by the Colormunki/i1Studio.

This is how the scanning process will be by moving the ruler just 1 previous row width from row A to M:

Below the corresponding patch set to print the target and generate the profile using the makeprofile.bat batch file in a DOS-box.

Nice work! The patch size is interesting! Is there any particular printtarg commands you used for this chart? With all the experimenting we've done lately, I'm at the point where I just simple do a one page chart with preconditioning. I would love to reproduce something similar for letter sized paper.

I have played with the page setting to force more patches per row and per page. Not sure, but I made a virtual page of around 400x450 mm and afterwards using photoshop to shrink down the whole page into 210x297 mm (A4 format), making sure the row width at 360 dpi resolution is 202 pixels.

This is the command I use to produce the virtual page before shrinking and compressing the final target into A4 format: printtarg -v -icm -A1.1 -T360 -M5 -P -p400x450 name_of_target.

I also move the row of letters that label the rows so the letters are moved down on the border of two rows, so the scanning eye of the Colormunki can move freely without scanning a black letter.

@crenedecotret : you might try to convert the vintage TC2.83 target which I enhanced with 2 extra patches to get 285 patches in total to convert it to a ti2 file. I manage to get a target with 285 patches (13 rows of 22 patches). This TC2.83 target was originally devised on the iMatch software and still exists in the i1Profiler software. With help of @Ink stained Fingers we tried several small patch sets and both of us conclude that even with a small patch set you can really good printer profiles, provided you get a good sampling of the RGB-colour space.

Here are the files: you have to convert the corresponding TC2.85 files into a ArgyllCMS ti2 file

After you have converted the TC2.85 (originally TC2.83) towards a ArgyllCMS ti2 file, just upload it here again and I will make the target for both A4 and letter and upload it again.

I also have an alternative 285 target that is based on the Spyderprint "Hight Quality target" with 225 patches that I enhanced with extra grey steps and near neutral (grey) ramps around the gray/near neutral area up to 285 patches that you can convert to a ti2 file for a target generation by me:
