80GSM Paper from two different brands have different drying time

Just a question, if you don't mind. If you're sure of the paper, what's about the ink, have you changed cardridges, same brand, same factory, same lot ? I'm not an ink expert by far, but will it possible to modify the ink adding some alcohol in order to have it dry faster (the same process we had years ago in the mimeographs) ?

Of course, the ink plays a significant role too. but I would't dare to change the composition of an ink that has proven reliable, in order to shorten the drying time. We might be changing other important physico-chemical properties of that ink, with undesirable results ( clogs ,leaks, etc..)
.Anyway, you're perfectly entitled to experiment (at your own risk ..;) ).
