the clp 315 is not refillable...dell 1320c all day long better than the samsung and yopu can pick up a set of toners for 50 which do 2000 pages a piece...
definatly dell 1320
if you was brave the refills take 5 mins and it costs 3 for the toner an 2 for a chip...obviously x 4 cartridges so...
as long as the cartridge chamber has ink in it a you have auto chips it will reset the ink volume.but it would be pointless not to refill as the printer would think it has more ink thank it actually does.
the chip is the first indicator that says the cart is empty the second is the prism. a led...
in the meantime try looking for instructions for reseting the waste counter as this is the same section of the eeprom reset and is alot more popular than what you are after
yeah ok.. the mp6xx and mp9xx ranges have the same sequences...ill get back to u if i find out more...can you even get into the service mode. as i heard the new canons service modes had been disabled but can see them doing it myself
if you reset the epprom all values will be returned to factory apart from a couple like purge and cant remember the other.
if you have the wrong sequence it just wont work. it wont damage the printer
try this
its for a close model but from experience canon resets are family orientated
1. Unplug the printer for at least 2 minutes from the wall.
2. Plug the printer back in but leave the printer turned off.
3. Enter Service Mode
a. Hold Stop/Reset button and the Power button for 5 seconds...
ok fair enough updating the firmware may do the trick but i doubt it. normally with canons you need to follow a procedure to enter the service menu. not sure for this model but its summet simple like hold a button power off then do a button sequence. but as i said not sure..ill have a look into it
just a heads up a refilled cartridge cannot void a printers warrenty unless they prove it was the cartridge that caused the damage.
So what do you do. if you ever have to send back a printer for inspection dont send the cartridges or put in some empty oem cartridges that have not been filled...
just here for a bit of research on any new items that crop up. im well involved the the refilling industry and have high amounts of knowledge.
I dont mind giving out info as long as i get what i need back. so will be trialing this forum for a few months to see if its worth my while.
if anyone...
