    Epson Photo 2100 blocked nozzle

I have just bought one of these from a garage sale along wth a couple of spare cartridges and some A3 photopaper. (all for 10!). It looks little used but I cannot get the magenta head clear. It prints very little on the nozzle check utility. I have carried out the clean function four times with...

    printing notelets on A5 card - ip4500

Thats what I have been doing. But it does not print the trailing edge of the card (which would be the half way point of the A4 page). Its as if the printer has detected the edge (end) of the card and does print up to the trailing edge. (A5 card is in landscape)

    printing notelets on A5 card - ip4500

I will actually be printing on A5 card. This will then be folded therefore producing an A6 format. The picture therefore will be A6 size. Borderless printing does not have A5 as a size so I thought that if I arranged my A5 card layout (picture on one half, text on other half) but on an A4 layout...

    printing notelets on A5 card - ip4500

I wish to print out some notelets with pictures of my local church on the front for our upcoming church fair. Folded A5 card with a borderless photo on the front and a brief description on the rear. I have produced what I need using Adobe Illustrator but cannot get a totally borderless print. I...

    duplex printing on canon ip4500

I've got the ip4500 printing duplex from a pdf file but can't get it to duplex when I am scanning documents on a scanner. I set the page setup for duplex printing but get each scan on a different page. Any ideas if it's possible to do this? I'm using an Epson Perfection 2400 from within the...

    Refilling MP210 cartridges

It would be myself that would do the refilling etc. It's the knowing when the cartridge is empty issue that would not work for her. On reflection we have decided to just get some replacement cartridges and be done with it. As you inferr Leo, peace of mind is worth a lot at that age.

    Refilling MP210 cartridges

My mother-in-law has a MP210 which she has run with compatible cartridges so far. Having just started refilling my Canon I was wondering if I could do the same for her printer. So the questions are: 1. Can I use the (IS) ink for my IP4500 in her CL-41 and PG-40 cartridges. 2. If so can the...

Ink monitoring after refill - PGI-5

I refilled my PGI-5 cartridge recently and noticed that the onscreen ink monitor is still showing a full cartridge even though it is (visually) 3/4 full. The cartridge is the original Canon and was reset with the Redsetter. Is this unusual?

Very first refill of OEM cartridge IP4500

I've just done my first fillup of a printer cartridge ever. Used the German method which went very well - apart from breaking off the 0.8mm drill I used to drill the hole in the cartridge! My low ink warning came up this morning and I found the black pigment ink resevoir empty although there was...

Hi, Can anyone tell me the difference between the quality settings 1 and 2 for the IP4500? Seems you can only get a '1' with the Photo Paper Pro selected.

    flushing and refilling CLI-8/PGI-5 cartridges

Token, Thanks for the detailed explanation. I shall search on the forum for the video you mention. I have all the tools for filling with both methods as well as two sets of empty cartridges. Maybe I'll try both.

    flushing and refilling CLI-8/PGI-5 cartridges

I have just obtained some once used empty Canon cartridges to refill with Precisioncolors ink. Flushing methods seem to involve drilling a hole in the top of the resevoir to let the flushing medium out then sealing it again with hotmelt. Refilling then by the German method. If I have to drill a...

questions on mp520, precisioncolors, inkrite and ink.co.uk

nche11 I've just looked on ebay for Hobbicolors here in the UK. To get equivalent to what I have just received from Precision Colors would cost me UK20. I paid just short of UK18 for the IS ink from Precision Colors. Both inclusive of shipping. So that makes Hobbicolors more expensive over here...
