I keep getting this banding on Magenta areas, the attached is a 16bit Tiff file. The printer has had medium use with a new printhead fitted about 2 years ago. The other colours are fine. Thanking you in advance. Paul

UPDATE! Apologies for the late update, but I have had a terrible time with the French cartridge supply company. After 2 failed deliveries they have now reimbursed my money! Anyway, the problem has gone! The Pro 10s is printing beautifully. I know not why? I will update if the banding returns...

Update. Still waiting for the new carts to be delivered, they have been returned to the warehouse twice! Don't you just love rural France!

Ok, The problem is Photoshop. I printed the same file from 'Apple Preview' and it's a lot better, but I can't think what has changed in Photoshop?

Thank you for your reply Artur5. As requested here are 2 scans from the Pro 10s. The print head sheet looks fine to the eye, I think the scan has added some screen clash. The car file is showing the exact problem. Thank you for your help. Paul

Hi. Recently my reds have turned orange! I use Octoinkjet refill and checked the right colour is in the right cartridge! The main paper I use is Permajet Smooth Gloss 280 and has been profiled. The printhead is clear. There is no banding and past prints were superb. I am printing from Photoshop...

Turn off, unplug and give the contacts really good clean (Q tip and alcohol) and try an original cart. I don't go near compatibles and re-fill the originals.

Well thank you for all the great advice. I cleaned all contacts amd we're back in business. It was either the cart or Redsetter contacts. Thank's again!
