So your are saying that your run "15", PRO-100 printers and all "15" exhibit the cyan clogging. You also state you are running 3rd party inks (no name provided). OEM ink works fine. Doesn't that point to your no name 3rd party cyan ink as the culprit. Change to a different 3rd party cyan and...

Yes I did look at the video but still confused why they didn't change the P/N's. You could order the P/N's in the US and get the inks from the same batch as what we already reviewed. I'll talk to my contact at OCP, Germany (if he is still there), and see what the bottom line is.

I'm a little confused as I received the MP209 and MPL210 first test samples about a year ago and the VM and VLM had bad gloss on glossy papers. I gave some to Jtoolman to review and we both agreed , very bad gloss. Are you saying that there is a new formula for these 2 and that OCP didn't...

Roy, how do you heat your house in Canada? I live in Pennsylvania and we all have either a gas, oil, electric furnace with forced air or water base board heat and leaving the print head on the furance for a day or two definitely drys up the moisture on the electonic side. Reading your email it...

I thought all new print heads contain a protection/lubricating solution so they won't corrode during storage. New Canon print heads definitely have this, so maybe the Epson ones do also.

Contact Dana at the InkjetMall. She knows her technical stuff! You did replace all the printer carts with the Cone carts? Don't mix OEM ad Cone carts at the same time. Bob P.

In the US we use Lava, comes in bar or liquid, contains pumice and moisturizers. Dye and pigment ink come off 100% with ease. http://www.lavasoap.com/

I own both the Canon IP4700 and PRO9000 MK II and have top filled the OEM cartridges countless times and zero problems with leaks, ink flow, etc. I personally think that this is one of the easiest things to do on earth. Takes me about 10 minutes or less to refill the 8, CLI-8 cartridges. Bob P.

I experince your same findings. IS ink works fine in my Canon PRO9000 MK II and IP4300, but clogs very quickly (one or two days) in my IP4700. The IS formula is different for the IP4700, than the ink set for the other two printers. The two different OCP ink sets I use in the 3 printers have no...

I have flushed only once and many of my carts have over 25 refills. I do use OCP ink so other ink set chemistries may require different cart flushing reqirments after the initial flush. Bob P.

It could be your water quality affecting what the sponge can do after drying. I have flushed carts sitting with dry sponges for 2 years and they will take 13-15 mL when filled for the first time. My water is natually soft. Id store them in a sealed zip-loc bag so if the sponges were slightly...

I just can't imagine all the problems people have here refilling OEM CLI-8 carts. In the last two years I have refilled 2 sets of carts, 25-30 times each with ease. 1. I flush out the OEM carts with water, I blow out as much water as possible by mouth over the fill hole, I then purge the...

Problem solved. Epson's Print CD version 2.00A only had the MK option, downloaded version 2.05A and it had both the PK and MK options. Bob P.

Susan, do you live in the US? If so, you usually can find a lot of the PRO9000 MK II printers new in the box on CraigsList for $120-150 with a complete set of new Canon Cartridges. These are being sold by people using a very sweet Canon rebate deal ($500-700) for a Canon DSLR and Printer...

I received my R3000 today and putting it through the paces I see that the printer automatically changes to MK to print CDs. Thus it purges the PK ink and then prints with MK ink, after a disc prints and you want to print glossy papers again it purges the MK ink and loads PK ink. I watched my PK...

Andrew, I just want to say that I have both a Canon PRO9000 MK II dye printer and an Epson R2880 pigment printer. I use OCP dye ink in the Canon that rivals Canon OEM ink when properly profiled. It costs me $0.30US, yes 30 cents, per cartridge refill, I consider that almost zero ink cost per...

I think that you should state that Octopus (if you did buy from them according to the photo) sent you the different cartridges, your post puts the blame on OCP and that is not so. Bob P.

http://shopping.netsuite.com/c.362672/site/what-is-inkthrift.html Interesting and he states that its fade resistance is better than other (OEM?) dye inks.

In the US the OCP supplier repackages the inks into smaller bottles from very large containers and mistakes have happened. I'm assuming you had the same problem as the bottle labels are not from OCP. Wating for the OCP ink review. Bob P.

I'm surprised that most of you haven't heard about Cone inks in the US. Plus Cone has custom ICC profiles for their inks and 3rd party papers for various Epson printers. Plus the gloss is very good compared to OEM. Read this to get some insight on his new Vivid K3 Pro Ink line...
