That is perfecly OK. I suggest something like -g32 or -g64. Printers with K3 ink set will do fine with less grey patches.

I cannot increase the design too much, because it must be considered as thick paper. I already increased the thickness slightly and it did not corrects the slight angled slope during printing.

I could fight the problem of the slight slope with free transforming (rotating) the image with -2.2 degrees in order to get the image aligned across the PVC ID card. Not ideal, but it works.
