nifty-stuff:
Sorry about the misunderstanding, after you select the version tab there will be a selection below, Other Version Information, Item Name, file version. Select that will give you the driver version number for your printer it should be 1.7xxxx (It's just below company).
If you would go to Windows Explorer and go to this location windows/system32/spool/drivers/w32x86/canonxxxxxx, right click on any of the *.exe or *.dll files and go to properties and then file version. The software version will be displayed.

If you do a search for Branson on Google you will get a listing for their ultrasonic cleaners.

Here are...

What program are you using to print your photos?
Some time its best to disable all color correction and see what you get.
That way you have a base line.
How are you using the icc profiles that Ilford supplied?

If the paper you bought was the Kirtland brand by Costco, the paper is manufactured for them by Ilford, it is similar to their Galerie Smooth Gloss Paper. Read the PDFs posted on this page. http://www.ilford.com/html/us_english/prod_html/galerie/htm/prod/sgp.htm
I own a Canon S600, it uses a bci-3bk, bci-3m, bci3y and a bci3c. These cartridges wer originally for the BJC-6000 printer, it was used for a lot of the newer Canon printers. If you purchase inks from MIS (www.inksupply.com) the stock numbers for bulk inks to refill BCI-3 cartridges and BCI-6...
To exit from the service mode just hit the power button, if that doesn't work pull the power cord.
I have had to press the power button 3 times (after resetting the "waste tank almost full" error) to get the printer to turn off.
