Now Canon is listing a Pixma iP1600 with ChromaLife 100 inks, supposed to be available July. The Pixma iP90 is now showing it uses ChromaLife 100 inks.
It looks like the new line of printers using the ChromaLife 100 inks will soon be available.

The Epson 4990 Photo does not come with Monaco Color managemet software the 4990 Pro does, otherwise the hardware (scanners) are exactly the same. That is the difference in price. I know you have profiling software so you don't need the Pro version.

1. The newest Epson(4990)/Canon(9950) high end scanners get good reviews and will do the jobs listed with supplied adapters. The Flatbed scanners are not as good as a dedicated film scanner because of the optics...

I read on another forum, the way to beat the expiration date on the HP cartridges is to remove the battery from the printer, this disables the onboard clock and lets you use the expired cartridges. I think I read the info at this site...
