Hallo! I've checked and there is very little here about My Image Garden, so I suspect that most people very sensibly steer well clear on the thing! However, I want to make this paper model of a duck that appears in Premium Content. I eventually got as far as obtaining the print dialog box but...
Thank you for that link, which was extremely informative and explained why I (and others) have had so much trouble with High Sierra. The nub of it appears to be this:
If you’re using a Mac with a spinning hard drive, or Apple’s “Fusion Drive” equipped models, High Sierra will not automatically...
Stratman - you are a genius! There was indeed a conflict between Word for Mac and Pages 7 when both were open (but not with Pages 3.0.3. for some reason). There's obviously a problem with having the two apps open with regard to the print dialog box. Anyway, problem solved and a big thank you and...
A good point and that did occur to me, which is why I deleted all copies and versions of Pages before reinstalling the one giving me the problems. As it was reinstalled straight from the Apple App Store, I doubt it is faulty. However, you have given me another idea. I keep Word for Mac open on...
I use Clean My Mac to uninstall apps because it does a clean job but it would not separate Pages 3.0.3 and Pages 7. So I had it uninstall both, then reinstalled Pages 7 from the App Store. Still no good. So then I reinstalled Pages 3.0.3 from my back up (he's no fool!). No marks for success but...
I bought Pages 7 as part of the iWork CD but foolishly threw the box away with the access number so that when I downgraded from High Sierra and had to reinstall all my apps (which is why it took nearly a month!), I was unable to reinstall Pages 7. As I liked it (at the time) I purchased just...
A pleasant morning reinstalling Sierra (California times seems to be a bit different to ours - about 33 minutes to instal!). Still, a useful exercise but, alas, to no avail.
Good point. I upgraded to High Sierra and then realised that High Sierra is intended for solid state hard drives and my iMac has a mechanical hard drive, So I downgraded to Sierra again - it took overall about four weeks (no kidding!). However, at that point I had no trouble with Pages and Canon...
To add to this, 'I've also posted on the appropriate Apple forum and no-one has replied there either. Seems to be a problem unique to me and my printer and Sierra.
Hallo. I've been thinking how lucky I've been with my MG5350 with virtually no problems. However, just recently when I bring up the print dialog box in Pages, it won't remember the settings and reverts to default. I've done the following:
- Restart
- Reinstalled Pages
- Updated the Canon...
Many thanks, Peter. A new print head is a thought and I have a possible source but it could be the logic board as you say. I will dispose of the printer quietly!

I've had this printer offline for a couple of months because of an amber light error. However, before throwing it out I decided to try one last tine. I took the printer off my iMac then put it back again. Now I have a different error message. Now I get ten alternate white and amber light...
OK. Took out carts and head. Switched on. Five flashes - print head not installed. Installed print head. Four flashes, carts not installed. Installed carts. Ten flashes. Followed the lifting the top cover and run procedure. Now about to try a print - no, same as before - goes halfway through...
Right. Changed the lead. Ran the printer and counted how many cleaning cycles before it stopped and switched off. Suspected the second cartridge (small black) and changed it. Ran it again. Better. This time I got only four flashes. Problem with ink tank. Not happy with yellow - didn't seem to...
Got a bit further!
Did the lifting the top cover and pushing the cart to the left. Got rid of the yellow flashes. Went to print a test page. Printer started to go through the cleaning cycle and cleaned about three print heads. Then it stopped, the power light went off and it won't start again...
Thanks, stratman.
I'm wading through the links you sent me but, interestingly, one nearly worked. With the machine off but plugged in, you open the top cover, push the printer cart to the far left, press the power button five times, then close the top cover. That got rid of the ten flashes. But...
Hallo!
I tried to print on matt photo paper several times but the printer refused to take the paper. I then printed OK on glossy photo paper but soon after that the printer refused to function and gave the ten yellow flashes error. According to the manual, ten yellow flashes for the iP7250...
