I'm not telling that I used the service utility randomly. I asked if you guys investigated it with utilities like the service tool and discovered something like for example a specific "absorber ink pad counter".
So these pads can be cleaned without having to also reset some counters...
It's ok, write me some models, I'm building knowledge,
also it's very possible to get used ones in good conditions. Lots of offices changes models frequently.
A question about how canon printers handle the borderless settings in terms of counters, based on your experience.
If I select borderless generally the extra ink is absorbed by the absorbtion pads.
Given that it means that a printer will be able to do a certain number of prints until the pads...
really? I mean A3+ is even bigger than SRA3, if a printer supports A3+ probably could be setup to support also SRA3.
Anyways could you suggest some models A3 based? I know various inkjet models but not so much of the laser ones
If I put an old android cellphone that I don't use it anymore attached to the plug under the CISS and setup it for regular daily vibration? could work? :D
Maybe something else could work,
a shaking toy with a timer...
This would be annoying because I can only use CISS also Brother printers use cartridges that are stuck, not on the moving head, they use tubes so the original ink should have the same problem.
true that
It's suggested among various printers, seemingly laser printer doesn't need this however I will try to wait always a day in a dry environment before printing.
This also tells me that I will need to print some extra ones so that if I do something off at first times I can still get...
I have to laminate my prints for various reasons, they need to be touched a lot and even creased and folded.
I'm getting a professional laminator (big and bulky 70kg weighting one) and various premium BOPP rolls with both lucid and soft velvet finish.
Would like to get as many suggestions...
It seems that I clogged it manually cleaning with alcohol and tap water over a slight electrical failure, maybe I can get to the point where I'm able to print a bit more of yellow and cyan so that I can prepare manual profiles for more neutral BW prints. Or even colors if printed in slow and...
It's what happened to my old 9500, I have it there sitting with half printhead failed however it works for the remaining blacks section.
I will try to clean it with the cleaning formula if I will have time too, I'm good at printing but I'm still no good at servicing my own printer equipment.
Thanks for the PRO-10 suggestion. (but, fun canon printers lose the capability of feed from back with linear path, I always hate when features are removed instead of added)
Can I ask you how much print you did since the original purchase with these 2 printers? did you needed to change the...
I know that, anyways my only need in moving from dye to pigment is to obtain waterproof prints.
Do Brother printers have something like Quiet Mode that I can activate so that it slows down the printhead and then make it cooler?
Ooh very very interesting. I thought my MFC-J6520DW was totally dye instead it appears that it has a printhead with pigment for black and dye for colors. Well i already installed a CISS on it and refilled with Inktek ink that everybody thinks is chinese but it isn't, it's Korean and high quality...
At the end in 4 years you definitely did not :D
I'm interested :D how that gone? Do the inktek pgi canon black worked in the LC-123 brother based printers? Do the printers gone clogged? What model do you use? I have a MFC-J6520DW
It could be possible to inject a pigment for an office based canon printer to have a waterproof black in my brother or i will ruin it?
I was considering to insert the mx 870 black pigment ink inside my MFC-J6520DW
As I understand the printer potty is a substitute for the printer waste unit?
Or better to say, it's something that you put in the middle of the waste tubes and waste tank in order to check how much the printer will drop in terms of ink and prevent the real waste tank to being filled?
If...
All this info are very nice. Thanks I will so consider an estimate if was declared around 20.000-25.000 prints. Because I do own various of this models I will use a chip resetter and quiet mode to extend the lifetime of the printheads.
