I'm mainly repairing for customers (given gratis to friends, or people who need a printer but can't afford). I bought these one on Monday (15€) but not sure I'll pay the same price on a MB5xxx
Maybe I'll have an MB2150 in the next weeks for free. Then we'll see.
Even if I agree with you...
I've around 53 service manual. Most from quite old printers. I'm going to move them from my general site to another dedicated to printers only. It's free of charge, there are on my own server. When it'll be done, I'll post the link.

They have all canon, epson, brother spare parts just ask through chat if you don't know the exact PN. And also if you're out of GB as you can't register if you're abroad, so that you must ask for.
My case it's MB2050WI (WI for Waste Ink I presume ) ;)
Hi,
After spending a 2 weeks repairing some small Canon Inkjet printers such as TS3151, MG3650, today I need to change the ink pad on a Maxify MB2050.
Print pages are today : 42651-42700, the ink absorber is almost full.
Is there any MB2050 service manual available and/or has someone already...
I've some MegaTank to test in the next days will try on one with an expired ink, maybe a god news (refilling with all 4 original Canon ones is over 120€ in France). What do you think about ?
I'm sorry maybe I haven't enough explained what I'm looking for. The purpose is : the customer won't have any problem during the one year warranty. For me repairing may include prev. maintenance in order to be sure of the printer. It's what I do when I'm repairing computers. A sort of renew...
Thank you for this advice, but I am rather looking for a preventive maintenance methodology that allows customers to be assured of the proper functioning of the equipment. Which parts would you change, which would you repair, which would you clean, regardless of the printer model. For example...
Well, as told in my bio a few days ago, I'm signing a partnership with a company in order to repair and/or refurb/recycle mainly their printers. The purpose is refurb minimum 25%, beginning with 2 shops in my area. In the next future it will grow up to nearly 20. It represents for each shop 2 to...
Just a question, if you don't mind. If you're sure of the paper, what's about the ink, have you changed cardridges, same brand, same factory, same lot ? I'm not an ink expert by far, but will it possible to modify the ink adding some alcohol in order to have it dry faster (the same process we...
Just a simple remark, as you don't know the chemical composition of each paper you can't compare them. 80g means nothing except the weight. Are the papers all of the same kind ? Which grade is it, are they new or partly recycled sheets, what is the composition of the paper pulp, what about the...
Hi Everybody,
First of all, accept all my apologizes if I make some misspelling or mistakes when explaining, english isn't my mother tongue.
Artefil is living in Langeais (French Loire Valley) since 11 years, where he's holding a small refurb electronics company but had also worked in...
