I stopped in at a local Staples to see the WP-4530 and was surprised to see that the cartridges do not ride on the print head carriage. They install along the left side of the printer and tubes feed the print head. Unfortunately, there were no cartridges installed so I could not confirm if the...
Thanks for the links.
How do we know if he is just talking about the cartridges that come with the printer when he says they have only 30 ml? I think everyone agrees the starter cartridges don't have much ink in them.
30 ml for what?
The amount of ink an OEM cartridge can hold?
The amount of ink that Epson puts in the cartridges that come with the printer?
The amount of ink that Epson puts in replacement cartridges?
The amount of ink that Ross puts in his cartridges?
Can we have a link to Ross's advert?
Thanks for the prompt response.
Do you know if when you buy an Epson cartridge (not necessarily the ones that came with the printer) do they come with 80 ml of ink or is that just when you refill your third party cartridges?
Do the OEM cartridges come with DuraBRITE Ultra pigment ink?
Do the OEM cartridges come with 80 ml of ink?
Do you refill the OEM cartridges?
Is your refill ink pigment?
It's fixed in The Hat's new auction.
You should buy his poster--it's really great. Better yet, just steal it, I don't think you could afford the shipping!!
Just look at the left-hand edge of the title bar of either auction that is up right now. You actually have the title repeated, once with a white background and once with a colored background (it looks red to me but it might be brown). It's in the second one. Actually, now that I think about it...
Opps, what happens for real if someone in another country wins a bid and I only provided of shipping cost within the US?
Rob, are we supposed to assume that when we say we're in the US, that means only someone in the US can bid?
This wireless printer uses unchipped BCI-6 dye and a BCI-3eBk pigment black cartridges. Comes with a full set of empty cartridges that have not be drilled. The printer does not work, it prints blank pages. If you put the print head in another printer, it will damage the other printer. I also...
Yes, I did know that but I went ahead and put the print head in one of my i860 printers which I consider my guinea pigs and it behaved the same way. But then I put another print head in the i860 and it got damaged but not in the same way--it wasn't a completely blank nozzle check. Nevertheless...
My favorite printer, an iP4000R, (favorite because it has wireless), stopped working in the middle of a print run. It will only print a blank page. Nothing on a nozzle check. I assume this is an electrical problem in the printer.
Is there any hope that I can fix the iP4000R? I'm wondering if...
I just got an email from Staples today announcing a change in their ink recycling plan to go into effect on 3/15/2013. In order to get the $2 credit for up to 10 carts per month, you have to spend $30 on ink cartridges. So take one last trip to Staples in the next two weeks.
The plan that...
Wouldn't you need two of your kits for most Canon printers--one for pigment ink and one for dye ink?
Have you actually tested this to make sure that the very weak peristaltic pump can actually deposit the ink in the box and that the ink doesn't dry out and clog the tubing?
I'm guessing that...
