Hi This is non printer related.
I wonder if there is anyone here who has mechanical and/or electrical background who can help to built something similar to this device? Do let me know how much I should be paying. It doesn't matter if the built is simple...
Haven't been in the forum for sometime.
Just for info.
For those with these printer, Auto Reset chips are available for ip4600 ip3600, ip4680 and ip3680 for sometime. Though no resetter for these series that I am aware of.
I am well aware of the spongeless carts issue. I am looking for these specific cartridges for my experimentation purpose. I haven't found these anywhere else apart from the European countries. I understand if if you are unwilling to help purchase and shipping oversea. It's okay. However if...
Sorry for the off-topic here, but haven't seen Defcon2k for sometime. So I hope there is a way for him/her to see my msg.
Hi Defcon2k, I sent you an email some time back. But I guess you didn't see my email. I wonder if you do see these cartridges around on offer...
Hi I am looking for these cartridge. I think it is sold in Europe. That time that seller (jochen_jupp) was selling away 17 pieces for 9 euro. As of now, I have not seen anyone listed it again. These cartridges maybe sold under other brand name.
I hope if anyone found these cartridges. Pls let...
This is not a resetter. This is the Canon service utility tool. You have to go to your own Canon Support to enquire for more detail. Like I said before
Sorry can't help you much.
Hi Manuchau,
I can tell you it's your PGI5 nozzles that is the cause. If you have use pigment ink on PGI-5BK, something it really need repeated cleaning to totally flush the pig5 nozzle clean.
When you set print quality to High at plain paper mode during printing, the problem does not appear...
Yes, include the amount of ink that gets absorb into the sponge.
Take the CLI-8 for example, few years ago, the box don't indicated the ink capacity, but the new box of the CLI-8 cartridges actually indicated 13ml as the capacity for CLI-8 carts. Despite that I generally refill about 12ml for...
If I buy a few resetters, it will be cheaper than one resetter alone.
Currently I am buying a few non printer related stuff. So I could include the resetter purchase together with my shipment.
Needed about 9 more resetters to justify the order for the resetters.
I will mailed out by normal...
You don't have to believe me. The PGI-820 - 19ml , CLI-821 - 9ml are what were written on the box. I didn't said that is the amount you should refill. You don't need to believe me as well as what the box had written.
Manuchau,
Not too sure the "italics" occurs for just the black when plain paper mode is selected or the "italics" occurs for those color text as well?
Since it's miniminal, it likely could be the Pigment black that is the cause. You could first clean PGI 5 or 3eBk printhead nozzles and refill...
I didn't think anyone would still need a resetter anymore. Because I assume almost everyone has one. Now I am actually take my guts out to ask if anyone here still need CLI-8/ PGI-5 resetter.
But the things is printer that uses CLI-8/PGI5 had more or less discontinued and majority already has the resetter. Not too sure if anyone here still needs the resetter. I am planning to buy one additional one and needed a few more orders to bring the price down.
But as my paypal verified...
Hi I am planning to buy an additional CLI-8/PGI-5 Resetter. However, I need to have a few orders to bring down the cost.
It will be US$14 inclusive of shipping to US, UK, Australia, Europe.
I wondering if anyone here still needs the Canon Resetter? But I guess a lot of you already bought the...
IP3680 , PGI-820 - 19ml , CLI-821 - 9ml
Yes, certainly you can eyeball the ink levels, but bear in mind, if you remove the cartridges to check the ink level, the printer will perform a light purge cleaning to pull the ink into the printhead whenever the cartridges are removed and replaced back...
