gigigogu - After the last post, I removed the cleaning solution from yellow tank but got filled with less than 2ml of yellow (capacity should be 3ml). Today I tried printing a yellow band in High quality. It did print a band though the color wasn't clear yellow. Maybe it could be because...
oops! I am reading Pharmacist thread again. Looks like he has recommended adding ammonia also apart from isopropyl alcohol and glycerol to the cleaning solution which I didn't do yesterday/today. Instead of 4-5 drops of ammonia, I guess I should add 40-50 drops of glass cleaner containing...
The clog was not cleared overnight. With about 1 ml of yellow, I tried nozzle check. Earlier there was only one streak of yellow but now I got 3 or 4 streaks of yellow. I have again removed the yellow ink and put in the cleaning solution. I will leave it for a day or two and see. Should I keep...
gigigogu - I have pulled out the yellow ink and discarded the same (in case it is contaminated). I was surprised to find isoprpyl alchohol (100ml bottle) and Glycerine (50ml bottle 98% w/w) available in a local medical shop (I thought it may be difficult to get them). I made the mixture with...
How do I empty the yellow? Should I take it out by sucking it with syringe through the refill hole? If I am doing this, is it necessary to empty out magenta and Cyan also? If I seat the exit port on an absorbent paper (Napkin), it will pull out magenta and Cyan.
In my Canon tri-color cartridge, 2 colors (ink - Magenta & Cyan) are coming out but Yellow isn't. In the second option above (apply some pressure with air), do I have to insert the syringe into the foam (fully or half way) and then apply the pressure. Or apply the pressure with out inserting...
Yellow ink does not seem to be flowing. I have tried cleaning and deep cleaning 2 or 3 times each. Please see the Nozzle check. What could be the problem? Can it be airlock? There is enough ink inside the cartridge and the original cart has been refilled.
Nozzle check after 2 or 3 cleaning and...
I checked by dipstick method using a pin. When I pulled out the pin, I could see the color. Hence right now all three color inks are there in the tri-color cartridge.
As of now, my idea was to top off some ink. I inject say 2ml slowly and if it seems to come to the top stop else try another ml...
I have a problem in CL-811 tri-color cartridge. The Yellow is not flowing. Even when I swipe on paper napkin, I see only 2 color lines (Cyan and Magentha). I added 2ml of ink of each color. still the same. I did cleaning twice. The nozzle check didn't show yellow band. Then I did a deep clean...
Well, I filled both PG-810 (Pigment black) and CL-811 (Tri-color, Magenta, Cyan and Yellow). The nozzle check seemed OK. I refilled them when the Printer said the ink is low. Even though I have printed 40-50 pages or more after that, still the ink monitor is still saying the ink is low (It still...
