Yes I did insert the syringe almost fully while refilling. I will try emptying Yellow and clean using cleaning solution.

How do I empty the yellow? Should I take it out by sucking it with syringe through the refill hole? If I am doing this, is it necessary to empty out magenta and Cyan also? If I seat the exit port on an absorbent paper (Napkin), it will pull out magenta and Cyan.

Do let us know what you find. When I bought a new printer few months back, I wanted a color printer which is cheap as the main purpose was for my children to use for school assignments. Hence I went for AIO MP258 and didn't look at any laser printer then.

Again this is just my opinion and may be my eyes are not sharp enough to see the edges. For me, it looks like the contrast (black ink on white paper) in universal print looks lot better.
