If you try to dump a v4 profile with iccdump you got a warning: ICC V4 not supported! Seems pretty clear that v4 isn't implemented in Argyll-CMS in the actual v3.5 package.

Hi Rick76, were you successful in solving the 0x53 error message? In the WIC Reset Utility this error is described as PF/ASF reset error. ASF sensor failure. ASF motor failure. In the service manual are very detailed infos about this assembly.

Downloaded and test run executed. Everything is working correctly for me. The Details in the Build Profile window with the Gamut Viewer and especially the big 3D Gamut View in the browser are very useful.

With 3.40.21 everything is back to normal.

@pharmacist I made a profile with the recommended target set and printed some B&W test images. Visually and measured the prints are nearly dead neutral. For me, it's perfect!

Measuring works again, but I got no log output. Not on screen and also the "View Log" button shows nothing - only a blank window. Logging into the log file was done. The X3DOM button works normally.

Same problem with 3.40.13. Last working is 3.40.11.

Good improvement! Without an external terminal window the look and feel is cleaner. Getting chartread output onto screen and in the log is really helpful. The "View Log" button is also valuable. No more reason to open a shell to get the log file. And if I really wanted to get the worst patches...

@pharmacist I'm mainly printing B&W images with Roy Harringtons QTR printer driver - most often with neutral grays. Which of your target presets would be the best to get the most neutral icc profile? I assume the one with the extended grays would be the first choice. Ot is another one better...
