I am having a problem with my printer. It was working great, I had to add 4 new ink cartridges. The Light Black just dropped out. I looked at the lines and it seems the light black fourth in is not supplying ink. I asked for a new cart, that will take a week or so to arrive. I am wondering what...
I actually wiped the timing strip off with my fingers yesterday. I went into my printing room just now and it seems like the problem is fixed! Thanks very much for your input. It was 100% spot on as usual!!
You have certainly helped me in the past! The lines are in the direction of paper travel. The Photo I supplied is in the orientation it comes out of the printer. It is upside down when it comes out as in the photo. I will clean the band you mentioned. I think I will use Windex first then my...

Well I tried the magic bullet a couple of times. I am now back where I was after some cleanings. Still 2 blocked nozzles on the yellow. I guess that's how it is. Maybe at some point I will replace the head if it gets worse or upgrade to a new printer. Very low volume of printing these days...
It is the same. I am thinking today I will remove the damper assembly and try the magic bullet. I have been thinking about buying a set of cleaning cartridges, and putting them in for our next trip away...
