Ok, at the risk of appearing to be a complete imbicile....I'm wondering if anyone else would find it helpful to have a link (maybe under FAQ's) about printer terminology. A sticky would be nice. I am truly a newbie to trying to refill my cartridges for my own personal use and some of the terms...

It did help....(of course by the time I read this, I had already cleaned the little tab as good as I could with an alcohol pad) :D I need to develop patience!

You may recall that I recently refilled my pigment ink with dye....well I now have pigment ink and managed to refill tank with that. I have had a problem with it clogging which I've mangaged to fix somewhat with a cleaning. Anyway it seems to be getting better. My question is this.... I did find...

Thanks. I refilled by making a hole on the sponge side. And I will go ahead and buy a replacement cartridge at Walmart until I can get a pigment black refill. Duh...I should have known that PG on the cartridge meant pigment. I am easily confused... (edited to add)...the nozzle check is fine...

Oh shoot....I think I found the answer further down the forum. I believe I screwed up :(

Hi all, I had some ink left from a not very successful HP project. Now I have a Canon MP 620 and just managed to do my first refills (I think with the german method?)...hopefully without a hitch. I haven't refilled the smaller black cartridge yet since it isn't empty. I am now second-guessing...
