I've check the spring around the paper feed and found no differences between the three printers. On the sheet not being fed there are two marks after the rollers trying to feed - but paper is not forwarded. This indicates more pages in the tray, but no change. Something is preventing the paper...

I use same paper on all printers (Navigator 80gr office quality)n. I tried turning - I tried 60gr poor quality. The paper does not get picked up (some times). Number of pages of paper in tray make no difference.

Can you help with possible reasons for A4 paper not being forwarded all the time? I've several IP7250s and two of them is having problems with forwarding paper from bottom tray. I can't find the reason (cleaning makes no difference an wheels seem ok - free from dust). I thought maybe firmware...

Where can I find a service tool which is not removed by virus scanner? I need at tool for IP7250 and Ts9150 Have found my 'old' supplier at his a-mail and got at service tool version 6000. Working and not stopped by virus scanner.

I've learned that the problem occurs on more PC's Problem, I believe, is related to 8-bit (XP) printerdriver. With 16-bit (XPS) driver I have not yet seen the problem. Any ideas? (Problem has nothing to do with cartridge!)

Will the print head go to center (as for cartridge exchange) when you open the lid?

Allow me to come with a suggestion: Don't wate your money on a resetter. Buy a set of resetable cartridges instead. I've tried resetables in a IP7250, but find the work beeing too much and have had difficulties in finding a good set of refill ink. Especially the yellow were/is a problem.

I like your idea of a tray (lifting the printer a little). I would, though, be more comfortable to known where the leak can be drained by drilling af small hole in the casing. I'ven't found a drawing or a picture showing the position of the waste ink container.

Ok. I can't help you. I've used a v5510 which have a Ts9150 listed.

Ok. which error number is shown on the printer? The service tool will only work on one (1) error. If you have like low ink, bad head or others no work.

I would think there is some wrong with printer apart from the error 1700. Will the printer startup proberly just showing the error 1700? A maybe tricky question: are you connecting by USB?

Will the error 002 then show up as soon as you click on >>EEPROM SAVE<<?
