Yes I did look at the video but still confused why they didn't change the P/N's. You could order the P/N's in the US and get the inks from the same batch as what we already reviewed. I'll talk to my contact at OCP, Germany (if he is still there), and see what the bottom line is.

I thought all new print heads contain a protection/lubricating solution so they won't corrode during storage. New Canon print heads definitely have this, so maybe the Epson ones do also.

I own both the Canon IP4700 and PRO9000 MK II and have top filled the OEM cartridges countless times and zero problems with leaks, ink flow, etc. I personally think that this is one of the easiest things to do on earth. Takes me about 10 minutes or less to refill the 8, CLI-8 cartridges. Bob P.

I have flushed only once and many of my carts have over 25 refills. I do use OCP ink so other ink set chemistries may require different cart flushing reqirments after the initial flush. Bob P.
