Thanks for the responses, not sure which way to go on this one, I have always used Canon Printers and will now have to make up my mind about purchasing a HP Printer. Will probably have a better idea once I have read other posts on this forum re HP Printers.

Thanks for the feedback. The paper does not seem to be moving but thanks for the idea about the timing strip, as you say it's almost impossible to see it, I can't see any timing marks but that's probably down to my eyesight,will give it a clean and see how I get on
