Epson Artisan 50, sorry, forgot to mention that in my post. They were purchased from bigdrop423. They used to sell Artisan 50 carts, but I no longer see them selling any epson carts at all. But they are of good quality, better than other ones I have purchased. I do remember milking or another...
I purchased refillable carts awhile back on ebay. I've been using them for more than a year, but I'm facing a problem with the black cartridge. Whenever the printer is in idle or turned off for more than an hour, the black color leaves streak marks. I have to run one or two cleaning cycles every...
Motor oil in IN FACT recycled and reused, but it has to go through a treatment process. Besides, reusing oil on an expensive investment, would not be the best idea. These a simply
black and white documents, which will most likely be thrown out after a couple of days. I understand this would be...
As an update, I've been using waste ink and I haven't had a problem with it as of yet. So far it's been an excellent idea. The color comes out as black, and is perfect for printing out back and white documents.
O-hello, Canon printer fanatics, I'm getting ready to purchase my first Canon printer, mainly for direct disc printing. In Canada, the Canon printers come with cd/dvd trays, unlike our counterparts in the USA. I have the option of purchasing the following models:
Pixma MG5220
PIXMA MG5320...
You have to remember, the artisan series printers only use 6 cartridges. With OCP inks you can purchase the colors you need the most in larger quantities. When I purchased 16 OZ of inks from Hobbicolors, it cost me around $65 but the shipping price to Canada killed the deal. Shipping alone was...
A Cannon Pro 9000 is an overkill. It uses 8 or 9 cartridges I believe, half of them I bet you will barely use. You must have paid a leg and an arm for that machine. They were running a deal last year, purchase a certain camera model and get a Cannon Pro 9000 at a heavily rebated price through a...
Where did you store your printer for the temperature to reach in the negative! I hope you don't live in an igloo....:P
Have you ever had experience with Cannon customer service? With Epson, they send you a replacement plus prepaid postage to send your old printer back to them.
I'll stick with my Epson Artisan printer for now. I thought the Cannon was much faster in regards to print speed. I guess there both up to par in printing speed.
For Epson printers it's recommended you either purchase a CISS or refillable cartridges. If you only use your printer occasionally refillable carts are suggested.
There's no need in cleaning the waste pads - you need to set up a waste ink tank on your printer. Look up online, there are many guides on how to install one for the Artisan 800 printer. I have an artisan 50 printer, and the waste ink line is RIGHT behind the printer, and there is a small door...
:) Who says I'm not from Canada. I saw a few Cannon printers on sale, but doesn't mention anywhere on the box that it has CD printing capabilities.
All you have to do is play around with the settings on your Epson printer, change it to 'Premium Paper Presentation Paper Mate.' Make...
I've never had a Cannon printer before, but thats mainly due to the fact that Epson owns the patents for CD printing in USA. Albeit, you can easily modify the Cannon printer by purchasing cd rollers and a tray on ebay, I just find it more economical to stick with Epson. I bought a Cannon Pro...
Although I'm relatively new to this forum, I have an extensive history with purchasing ink cartridges and CISS from ebay. I'm always looking for the cheapest bang for my buck, and I have had good experience with majority of ebay cartridges. I do high volume printing, and have to fill every now...
