Fixative Spray / Coating for Waterproof / Waterfast Prints

I use a generic craft clear gloss spray available from dollars and sense stores. Its made by PJ SAS Trading pty. Ltd. in aussie and I swear by it. It costs 6 dollars for a 400 gram can. I just spray on one heavy coat. Its dry in 5 mins. VERY glossy finish. A word of warning, Steer clear from...

    Good quality CLI8 blanks?

When I hap my old ip4200, I used to refill when the ink chamber was ALMOST empty. The idea of the sponge is to evenly distribute ink as you say. IMO, you can refill almost indefinitely as long as you dont let the cart run out. I refilled my OEM canon set on my 4200 around 40 times with no...

    Good quality CLI8 blanks?

I was thinking about refilling generics to give it a shot. Everyone here though recommends not doing so. This is because the sponge design on the generics isnt as good as cannon originals I assume

Switching The Cartridge Chip On PGI & CLI Canon Refills

That sounds like canon, They love to sue :D But yeah, Ive never used those compatibles, so I don't really know the answer. imo, I think that they wouldn't come as clean as the original ones as the material used to make the sponges probably isn't the same. But you're right. If you're refilling...

Switching The Cartridge Chip On PGI & CLI Canon Refills

You can buy compatible carts with a new chip/reset chip on them but as far as I know you cant buy new chips by themselves. Your best option is a chip resetter

Switching The Cartridge Chip On PGI & CLI Canon Refills

the simple answer is, It doesn't. When you swap chips, the printer still thinks you have the original empty cart in the printer still. You will get a message on screen saying " ink out, Continuing to print will damge print head and void warranty" (or words to that effect) You simply push...
