PeterBJ,
Sorry, I did not make myself clear. I met the "ink absorber pads" in the bottom of the printer. When I had my i9900, I did a successful removal and cleaning of the pads. It was not hard to disassemble the printer and gain access to the pad area. Since the 9000Pro mkll is a newer...
Wondering if anyone has tried to :D replace the ink pads in their Canon 9000 Pro?
If so, the degree of difficultly :( and any manuals that are available showing step by step disassembly to get to the pads.
Thanks in advance.
My faithfull CANON i9900 finally gave up. I now have 48 "processed" BCI-6 carts for sale. They have been flushed, the "ball" removed in the refill hole and tapped for 6-32 threads. (Bolts NOT included). These carts are in perfect condition and have not been used since the original factory...
Just looked at Costco website and yes, they have a whole new line of Signature paper in 4x6, 5x7, 8.5x11, 11x14, and 13x19. That accounts for the discount on their old paper. Glad to see the additional sizes of paper, especially the 13x19.
May have to sneak out to the store to see whats in...
Thank you for all your comments. I always use Hobbicolors ink for my Canon i9900 and Pro 9000 II, with absolutely zero problems. After researching, Hobbicolors sells the pigment ink for the 210 cartridge, so I will be using their ink. Once I find an aftermarket cartridge to refill, I will...
:) Just picked up the NEW Kirkland 4 x 6 paper to test out against the older Mexician paper. There is a large difference between the papers as far as the new is bright white, while the older is more of a cream white. Printing on both using the same Colormunki profile I made of the older...
Thank you for your quick responses. I will buy pigment ink as I have done in the past for the HP printers. And keep Hobbicolors solely for my Canon printers.

:) Can I refill HP 74 black cartridge with Hobbycolor Canon Black dye ink in lieu of the pigment HP ink? I am not concerned with color accuracy but am concerned in running thru the HP 74 cartridge OK and not :( damaging the printer, which is a HP 5550.
Thanks
David Brady

What you are being told and what you see is exactly what happened to me in the Chicagoland area. I purchased 5 boxes of 8/5x11 and half were USA and other half Mexico. Same for the 4x6 I purchased. I don't know where Costco is going with this and what their intent is...
You state your Ohio store has three (3) different sizes. Other than 4x6 and 8.5x11, what is the third size? Here in the Chicago area we only have two sizes that I have seen. Even Costco's web site only shows the two sizes in Kirkland.
Thanks

:( At least in the Chicago area. Tonight I drove to the St. Charles store, 2 years old, very sucessfull, to purchase 8.5 x 11. Not a box to be had on the shelves and only about 40 boxes of 4 x 6. Talked to the store manager and he stated Costco, at least in the Chicagoland area, will no...

Thanks for your quick reply. I did buy a replacement i9900 print head direct from Canon for 62.00. The next cheapest price was on the internet for 83.00. I will check out Grove Office Products as Roselle, Ill is not far from me.
I do all my own maintance and repair, so OEM parts...
