Yes, I have one. I was just referring to the video which, to me, implied that any color surrounding another changes the color of the surrounded color, thus making a "right" choice entirely subjective.

There is a method to the madness if I correctly remember my colour science from college over 50 years ago.

In broad concept the dominant or strongest colour will visually modify surrounding colours towards the COMPLIMENTARY of the dominant colour.

Hence consider a pictures of yellow sand and a blue sky.

The yellow sand will tend to cause the surrounding colours to visually move toward blue (The sky) and the blue sky with cause the surrounding colours to move visually towards yellow (The sand).

Carefully used this can aid reproducing the colours in your images, especially if a beach or desert scene.

Another example being red fruit and green foliage.

Enough for now - let's keep it simple.

Therefore neutral grey causes no "movement."

Ok, I've learned something. Nap time…

it does cause movement - LUMINANCE. Neutral grey in the absnce of other factors, and if sufficiently dominant will tend to visually affect the luminance NOT the chroma (Colour values).

At least based on my 50 year old theory. And please note we are talking VISUAL PERCEPTION. The measurement of the colour values does not change. Hence my earlier facetious comment, "Don't believe your lyin' eyes" :)

Always open to peer review and corrections where necessary.

Robots can be trusted to overcome this or can they? Actually,They can be trained to have the same deficiencies as humans or taught to have the same lyin eyes bias. Deep learning is around the bend. Kinda scary stuff.

Time, as they say, heals all wounds and perhaps "clogged" nozzles. Having been printing a bit recently I ran a new nozzle check not expecting a change and Lo! The clogged nozzle has cleared itself. It was probably, as @mikling said, a tenacious air bubble that has been rattled free.

I print various things more than once a week. This last check was after printing a bunch of brochures in a session.

As far as which Red River paper, I've not settled on a final set yet. I've been going through their sample kit and will be making a few final choices in the next week or two. Although I do like their Aurora Art Natural.
