This is for a DTG printer, sorry. :\

I have been using a recipe that I thought I found on here for long turn capping.

5% Propylene Glycol
20% Isopropyl Alcohol
75% Distilled Water

I fill the capping station, park the head and then turn off the machine for weeks! at a time.

I'm having some problems getting it to print well. It's suggested that those chemicals were too harsh and possibly delaminated my head.

What are you guy's thoughts?

20% isopropyl alcohol is a bit on the strong side to have sitting for extended periods, though. It may degrade seals, inks, and adhesives over time and is also harmful to ink jets over the long run. I'd use the manufacturer's recommended fluid or cap solution when ever you can. Also weeks sitting between runs will create problem in any kind of machine that the fluid being used makes little difference.

20% IPA looks too much for long term exposure. I'd swap the IPA/PG ratios - i.e. 0 75% Aq / 20%PG / 5%IPA - or even leave the IPA out altogether: 80% Aq / 20% PG
