Hi,

does anyone know where I can find an older Samsung firmware for my printer? After installing an official HP update, my Samsung Xpress SL-C483W (SEE version) stopped working correctly - it no longer heats up, shows random "incompatible toner" errors, and the HP diagnostic tool says "print system not installed".

It seems that I need the older SEE firmware (around 2017) to restore the printer, but I can't find it anywhere since HP only provides the latest update.

Any help, archive, or link would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Why O’ why did you install the firmware update.. !

In HP’s case if anybody is using a HP or affiliated printer, the best advice is never install one of their updates, it has been shown time and time again that these updates are aimed at restricting the user from operating their printer as they normally like too..

In the end its all down to money, your money, so be aware about any firmware updates for any printer, don’t do it, because it’s a guarantee that it’s a honey trap every time..

P.S. in all the time I’ve been using these printers, I have never once installed an update and my printers have continued to work regardless.. (There’s been a lot)

I understood only after installing that they modified older samsung firmware, like i was using a 0.19 version and i reinstalled the same 0.19 version(because i tried to install a chipless firmware and i softbricked the printer) but i didn’t knew that even the old samsung 0.19 version was modified by hp, this is why i need an old non-modified samsung firmware.
