Hi guys!

Hoping some of you can help me!!
I have a new pro-300 printer on a fresh installed Macbook with Monterey. I have installed the drivers from Canon, and also the media guide, and installed a Hahnemühle icc profile.
The problem is, that every time I print, the colors er washed out or dull, exactly as you can se on the soft proofing, it is like a grey layer has been put over the picture. I added screenshots of the settings. The printer has been doing this from the beginning, since I have had a few different printers installed before, I decided to format and reinstall the Mac, but the problem is still there.
Even though the printer is new, of course I tried cleaning cycle and everything, all is good, and original ink.
Any advice??

Merry Christmas, and best regards
Mike T.

This new Monterey O/S is causing all sorts of issues with the inkjet printers, mainly because there isn’t a new driver written for that O/S yet, so the only way you can trouble shoot the problem is to use a known Print Evaluation image like the one below.

Using anything else from your own collection will get you nowhere, and you must also let the printer handle the colour, so it has to be a unedited image and they can be found on one of the many sites that explain photo editing..
P.S. downgrade to the previous O/S is also a good solution..

Print Evaluation Photo.jpg If this one copies ok then use it..

Re: Monterey OS - we are using Pro 300 and some Epsons from Monterey and have no issues. Using Canon and Epson icc profiles only. Canon paper and profiles give just what we want so have no reason to investigate 3rd party. The Pro 300 + Monterey are producing the best prints we have ever made.
