Your oven is the male version of Suzy Homemaker Ovens.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

On the quality of printers and how good the value is now compared to a couple of years ago, one guy in the Voron printer group I belong to has successfully printed the ABS parts using the little Kingroon printer surrounded by a photography light cube to keep the temperature steady.

Next thing you know I’ll be printing scones…

that's where it all starts... Then making up excuses later..:hugs

My son starts 8th grade next school season. He has ADHD and learning disability so is on a much younger learning ability and status.

I'm trying to get him to take a "Fab Lab" course for 8th grad...3D Printing, Laser, Vinyl Cutter, Milling, etc.

Not sure he really wants to, but he loves Legos and building things (nothing too complicated) so thought this would be a good stepping stone into more "advanced" things for him.

That's awesome. I hope he gives it a try, bluestang.
Yeah, me too. I think he's worried since he knows he way far behind other kids his age...then his Anxiety kicks in and makes things worse for him learning things.

It is understandable he would be worried about completing tasks timely in relation to others and making something the class would see. I remember feeling this way in Shop class. Still have the aluminum ash tray/soup bowl/1950 Desoto hubcap/who knows what I made. Good feeling when mom put it out on display.

It’s not that he’s far behind, he just comes to things a little bit differently, give him the time and he’ll turn out a little marvel.. It’s all down to Patience.. :hugs

No, he's far behind. He gets special assignments, tests, homework, etc compared to other kids his age. They call it an IEP...Individualized Education Program. He's probably on a 4th grad reading/writing/math level along with about the same emotional/mental level.

It's hard for him and I'm just trying to think outside the box of something that will spark some enthusiasm and interest for him... and then let it grow from there like you said.
