Wow.. There is a lot here, so I’ll make a few comments..
it depends on how much of an expert you want to be and what kind of results you want". Both can be either difficult or easy, depending on the outcome you desire.
That is one statement we both can agree on 100%
Everybody that owns a 3D printer wants something different out of having one, but the one thing they all have in common is they enjoy making things that please them, but I still try and make very difficult pieces..

I’ve worked in and with colour management for most of my life and found 3D designing way easier to learn and enjoy than Colour Management ever was, 3D objects are far more stable and doesn’t change with the passing light of the day, plus it feels much better to see it in your hand..

I reckon young children would be far better off putting down their smart phone and learning 3D printing, at least they might see where there going and enjoy the environment around them..

The Mrs. has you on a short leash? I like her more each day.
Actually no, it was my son that coughed up the cash.. the Mrs said Feck off, I have enough printers..

@stratman, A man can take a wife.. years ago it was about the horses and camels he had. But nobody said anything about how many printers..:plbb
