Hello all, I have recently become the proud owner of an Epson WF-2960. I had an issue during initialisation when the automatic power-saving electric plug on the wall turned the power off mid-initialisation (it's controlled by the computer.) I turned the power on and linked up the 2960 to the router and it printed OK. I left the printer powered up over night and when I went back to the study the next morning the 2960 had ejected every sheet of paper from the paper tray.
I asked Epson about it and they suggested I turn it off for a few minutes and reinitialise the machine. I did that or, at least, I turned it back on (I'm not sure if there is something specific I have to do to re-initialise the 2960) but last night it happened again. Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi @Icpota
That's an unusual problem. Given that power was off during initialization, the firmware may be corrupted. Given that is an open issue, as a first step, I would do a complete reset of the printer and start over from scatch and take the printer off the power saving controlled by the computer (most printers have a low power mode when not in use) and update the firmware to overwrite the potentially corrupted firmware. Here is the PDF file I pulled off the web for how to reset yoru computer to this level:

This may not solve the problem yet would eliminate corrupted firmware as the issue.
