Hello,

I see ink leakage on the ink cartridge side, and printer reports "cartridge empty". It's the second cartridge I tested.

I would like to check the printhead in case it's clogged on that side but the printer refuses to run the printhead replacement procedure when there are pending operations with the ink cartridges.

Any hint about how to verify the printhead in this situation?

You can get to the printhead this way. Start the printer and watch for the carriage to start moving, immediately it starts moving from the locked position, switch printer off from the back switch or the main supply.

You will need a priming tool to get air out of the ink tube of the particular color. A priming tool is a syringe and needle, a blunt needle of course. You can cut a sharp tip needle and try to maintain the hole so you can suck out Air with it.

I replaced 4 printheads once more, now I get color in the test pages but something seems to be wrong with the LC printhead.Tests are not consistent, may there be something wrong with that one?.

Also, I see air in the tubes. I don't see ink flowing, but printing is working :/

Ok. At least your printer is set for printing. You will need a priming tool to move forward. A priming tool is just a needle and stringe You try and remove the sharp part of the needle. Use this to suck ink from the ink tube from where the printhead stays this will remove air from the tube. The prints you are seeing now are just the inks in both the printheads, when they are used up the heads will fry and you will have to get a new one.

Just got out of same issue with my z3200. For some colors that are not showing up now, if you are lucky and they are not fried you can get them recovered by refilling them. There are utube videos on YouTube. Watch the videos keenly and follow instructions. You can do it. I've done it severally.

I was able to draw easily ink from all the ink tubes reaching the printhead but ink never passed through the tubes you can see on the right side of the printer.

they seem to be different from what connects the printheads to the ink cartridges.
