xerox paper jam on left side door A

My Xerox phaser 7800 gave me a fault code 377.901.00 saying there was a paper jam on left side door A. There was in fact a jam in the fuser roller which I removed completely. However, it is still giving me the fault message. Tried to restart and reset the fault but couldn't figure it out. Please help, thanks.

Perform a Software Reset

IMPORTANT: Using Software Resets to restart the printer is faster and wastes fewer consumables than powering the printer off and on.

To reset the system software from the Control Panel:

1.Login as System Administrator at the Control Panel. See the Related Content section for additional information.

2.Press the [Machine Status] button on the Control Panel. The Machine Status screen will be displayed.

3.Select the [Tools] tab on Touch Screen.

4.Select the [Troubleshooting] button.

5.Select the [Resets] button.

6.Select the [Software Reset] button, and then select [All Software].

7.Select the [Reset] button on the Software Reset Confirmation screen. The printer will reboot.
